Meet Dion Julian
Dion Julian Lattimore is an Image Consultant and Fashion Designer to the stars. His styling attracts A-listers, and many other reputable clients on a daily basis. Lattimore, a Southern California native, got his start in the fashion industry as a runway model. His love for fashion and style led him to seek an apprenticeship at a small clothing company. Lattimore later expanded his horizons and became employed at another exclusive men’s clothing company. There his yearly sales numbers catapulted him into a class all by himself.
It was only a matter of time before Lattimore's talents demanded an opportunity to flourish. With $5,000 he partnered with Scott Torrellas and Sean Jones (former defensive end of the Greenbay Packers) they started the line Dion Scott Custom Wardrobes.
Scott & Dion ventured into the ultra posh shopping district of Beverly Hills and it became the site of their flagship showroom. Dion Scott immediately became a designer label frequently heard in the exclusive realm of men’s made- to- order couture. First year sales were a wopping $1.5 million dollars.
Sports celebrities such as Earvin” Magic” Johnson, Emmitt Smith, David Justice, Koby Bryant, David Robinson, and Shaquille O’Neal literally became walking billboards for Dion Scott.
The collection also courted the entertainment world finding itself at home in the closets of Will Smith, Boyz II Men, Steve Harvey, Charlie Sheen, Courtney B. Vance, DL Hughley, Dule Hill, Cedric the Entertainer, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. Powerful businessmen were no strangers to Dion Scott’s classic look. Business luminaries such as Earl Graves Sr. of Black Enterprise Magazine and Ken Chenault, CEO of American Express, all appreciate the elegance displayed in Dion Scott’s Signature Collection.
However, although a successful team In January 2003 Lattimore and Torrellas closed down and amicably decided to pursue separate business ventures. Soon after, Lattimore created a line called Dion Julian Beverly Hills-a brand that complimented his individual style, and has gained the favor of sports and entertainments world's elite.
